I’m in agreement with you guys on the value of compartmentalising and moving on and that looking to an episode of SPN for a soothing hurt/comfort balm will only breed disappointment. Some of the best moments in the show has been when that subtext – or undercurrent – or reality – has been DEALT with, acknowledged, wrestled with. Dean then just drives up in the Impala and they park….again in plain sight??

This was the depth and complexity that Natalie had mentioned in the last thread – and I also mentioned it – something I hoped would be explored.
