There is a yellow cell moving through Sydney's South West. 4-day wear forecast and radar for Bowral, NSW. EC as mentioned the more 'bullish' model. Models now pretty bullish for a strong cold front to impact NSW later this week and across the weekend. Winds westerly 15 to 20 km/h becoming light in the evening.
Camden had a gust of 115 kmh at 4:15 PM. Will post in this thread for rest of day and hopefuly catch a good sniff of unstable weather later today in my travels. Near Wyong my vehicle thom read 26 around 3pm. Latest models are still fairly bullish about snow, with EC still liking some near Bowral early Sat! Winds south to southwesterly 15 to 25 km/h shifting northwesterly 15 to 20 km/h during the evening. Thankfully the stock can now access some grassed areas. This was certainly a central tablelands event. Bowral railway station is served by the Southern Highlands Line with services between Sydney and Moss Vale or Goulburn.Long distance services operate to Canberra and Melbourne. Long-range snow maps are available to members. As I've said a few times in here, the back end is where we stand the best chance of snow as the winds switch south. Meteye has also extended its forecast of snow to the upper Blue Mountains. Day to day discussion and event-based threads. I think it's fairly certain that you'll be right given it's mid-spring and the moisture peaks well before the colder air arrives. The lowest chance of rain or snow occurs around early to mid May. Still in the area and the wind has slackened a bit.
