In my time in the district, I have experienced many years of good education.
I remember transferring from Richardson to garland my first grade year and I was terrified but the environment about my elementary school was amazing and so welcoming! The staff did a great job of expanding and getting out of their comfort zone by going to sporting events and joining social media to keep the students engaged with school activities on their side.
There are some things such as doing many things on the internet rather than actual hands on learning.
I have learned various skills such as communication, critical thinking, leadership and accountability.

I moved to Lovejoy in 3rd grade where it was very different from my previous elementary school. Teachers are amazing at creating a love for learning. Once a semester, academics are put on pause to emphasis a good characteristic, such as grit or hard work, throughout all schools for an entire day! Parents do not need to worry about their kids being indoctrinated into anti-American rhetoric. Lewisville ISD provides iPads for students and fast internet at the schools. My junior year, I was accepted into a clinical rotation program offered at my school which allowed me to visit hospitals and assist with patient care for a more hands-on experience. The social life at HP also plays a huge part in the student's lives, but there are countless extracurricular activities offered to ensure each student can find their place.
I believe this school takes safety very seriously and has some of the most amazing, loving teachers, that are so dedicated. Overall, I'd give the district an A. Lewisville ISD offcers a great education on all subjects and creates students who become leaders. For example, the school funded our trip down to Austin when we performed for over 500 school administrators to show just how good our choir is. Not to mention, the outside extracurricular activities are introduced to all students, whether it is academic-based or not. "author": {
Since moving to Shelton they are thriving and we have seen an improvement in their reading and math.
The majority of teachers are decent with some exceptions. Since moving to Shelton they are thriving and we have seen an improvement in their reading and math. They are well taken care of and are all in nice safe areas.

Although the academics are rigorous, students will graduate from Highland Park prepared for the expectations they will face in college. And then having to go to middle school and now High school, it’s been honestly terrific. We cannot thank Tilton School enough and highly recommend this incredible school! Overall this is an amazing school district with incredible opportunities, inclusion, and funding. We are from California and it was difficult to let him go to school 2500 miles away however, it was absolutely the best decision we could have made. I have met many people and they all feel comfortable in the atmosphere that the school has set up for its students. We also love the campus, it offers a good sense of security but also offers great facilities, from the diversity of playgrounds available, to the library and music room, the gym, the soccer field and sports courts, they’re all strategically grouped in the center and at students easy access, triggering interest specially with little ones to explore new things everyday. The school has a great culture and a unique diverse community, which makes a much needed institution in our days! At least one school in the district offers the program.
Lovejoy offers a variety of classes, but with fewer students than other larger school districts and they require each student to take certain classes to graduate which I love (4 maths, 4 English courses, 4 science, and 4 histories). Harmony also provides a comfortable environment in which allows students to become closer to one another while feeling safe and administrated.
I have met many people and they all feel comfortable in the atmosphere that the school has set up for its students. St. Philip's fosters the needs of supporting the growth of upright and responsible young children. We were not sure if he was ever going to read well.
The teachers are teachers because they believe in the students and their potential. My son has been at Tilton School for the past three years. Please. Great education system and caring teachers. The classes aren't tough to pass, but to keep track of more than 2 AP classes in one year is just exhausting and makes the experience stressful.

RISD has some extremely dedicated teachers who love their students to death. Going to different schools there is definitely a different style to each one but with each one I was taught well. We had cultural days, where students and teachers of the culture of that day would dress accordingly to show it off. The school has a great culture and a unique diverse community, which makes a much needed institution in our days! I am a huge athlete so sports are important to me, and I believe MISD is very advanced in sports. Texas school district boundaries are not always aligned with county or city boundaries; a district can occupy several counties and cities, while a single city (especially larger ones such as Dallas, Houston, or San Antonio) may be split between several districts. Furthermore, Harmony students have won many awards, whether it is from an academic or athletic field; it would not have been without the help of the school.
We have discussions together (parents and school) and are sure to keep the best interests of the students in the forefront. I wouldn't trade my time there for the world! My daughter starts UT Austin, Electrical Engineering. Allen Independent School District is an amazing public education system. Now obviously I myself haven't even met half of the MISD teachers, but from my experiences, they've all been excellent. This stress is assuaged slightly by the school events such as Jacket Feast (a day where food trucks from downtown DFW are available during lunch time) and Dodgeball/Volleyball tournaments though. The classes are set at a good pace and do help a student to learn the course and interact with the material and other students often.
