Soon she made the acquaintance of Burroughs Waltrip, an evangelist who came to Denver on a preaching junket in 1935. Kathryn used the media and established an influential radio ministry. A plaque in her honor is in the main city park in Concordia, Missouri, a town in central Missouri on Interstate Highway 70.
