Okay, if this contains any spoilers at all they won't be too extensive since I have to admit that I could only stomach just over 30 minutes of this dross. Needless to say, they ended up being meat for the beast, and soon Danny and her friends find themselves next on the menu. The central character is a young and hot Canadian ranger stationed in a tower post somewhere in the middle of an extensive forest.

Bottom line: bad acting, worse script - would have been more satisfying to see everyone killed in the first five minutes and then watch the monster wander around aimlessly in the woods for a few hours. With one or two minor exceptions, the acting was OK. You’ll know they’re coming as soon as you hear an angelic voice start singing. However, Nusair criticized the film's melodramatic aspects and slow pacing. Some cite the relatively moderate gore but I saw quite a bit. | Rotten (2). We won’t be able to verify your ticket today, but it’s great to know for the future. Some genuine scares, a terrifically scenic wilderness setting, and a charming but flawed heroine (the mammiferous, mass of tangled curls known as Cerina Vincent) help propel the story. What really turned me off was the dialogue, it was pretty bad, and it seemed like that either the actors did not take direction well, or that they were reading the lines right from the script without any feeling whatsoever. Sorry that I am so picky but it is this way in so many movies. That’s the setup for It Waits, and sure it’s nothing groundbreaking, but hey, this is a monster movie, baby! 3 – Adam Pyre & Viktor Kraus, Ultra-Indie Daily Dose: Survive Three Nights Of Terror In 78 Hour Rain. Shades of JEEPERS CREEPERS but not as good! Written by Richard Christian Matheson, son of the legendary Richard Matheson but a fine horror writer in his own right, It Waits is a surprisingly high quality low-budget horror film. Aside from the opening cave massacre, ultra-horror fans may be disappointed by the low body count. While on the surface IT WAITS looks like your standard run-of-the-mill creature-in-the-woods feature, it does have a little more to offer. Do I have to even mention Stephen King’s It? A monster on the loose. I like the way that all the stick this movie seems to get revolves around the fact that it doesn't have any major nudity and has a small body-count. This means that for the first half hour, "It Waits" only features dull guilty speeches and a forced dramatic atmosphere. So that already hints that IT WAITS isn't that bad at all. Some complain about the score and songs chosen but I like the music in Monroe's films. The percentage of Approved Tomatometer Critics who have given this movie a positive review. It waits was interesting right from the start and had good effects and nice atmosphere. The thunderstorm towards the end looked real and was done right.Too many times in the past in other movies they have really come across fake.I also liked how the creature wasn't shown up close enough to get a good look at first. All you see is quick glances of it.This added to the mystery and horror of it.It made it more elusive and ghostlike. Poor Danielle St. Claire drinks a lot of Vodka because she can't deal with being responsible for the death of her best friend in a car accident. Otherwise you risk an unplanned 'loud noise'. The horror elements were standard and fairly well done and the script, while spotty, was okay. Sidney Poitier’s 7 Most Memorable Performances, All Harry Potter Movies Ranked Worst to Best by Tomatometer. They jump into the sack for some well covered soft core, that's what! How’s that for a warning sign? The only comfort she can get is from her boyfriend Justin Rawley (Dominic Zamprogna). If you like horror flicks with conflicted people and a little romance, this one is good. Vincent effortlessly carries the picture with her excellent and affecting portrayal of the touchingly tragic heroine; she receives fine support from Dominic Zamprogna as her concerned, likable boyfriend Justin Rawley, Greg Kean as friendly fellow ranger Rick Bailey, and Eric Schweig as wise college professor Joseph Riverwind. Story had the necessary shocker elements. I was kind of impressed- The main character's angst and predicament and her guts in confronting the bad stuff reminded me of Siggy Weaver's Ripley character.

Danielle's traumas all become meaningless when she and her boyfriend Justin face the bloody battle with a demon that accidentally got unleashed from its prison cave and now runs amok in the woods. |
