My great regret was that I was sort of recovering from a stomach bug and was unable to enjoy most of the food but everyone at our table raved. We chose to select 4 entrees for sharing amongst 4 people and it turned out to be quite adequate for a light meal. Very disappointed that the tea was served in small metal pot with only a single t bag, really expected, real tea, and lovely pot to match the plates and cup and saucer... when asked for top up that is exactly what we got so very weak tea for second cup!!!! The high tea food was perfect and also very filling! Half the adults at our table chose the chefs plate, which consisted of an entree, main & dessert & sparkling wine. Finger sandwich Beef & potato cottage pie Red velvet, coconut lamington Rocky road Cupcake Vanilla milkshake . Food was great, service was great and a good bottle of wine in a very congenial atmosphere.
We did not have a reservation and initially this looked like causing a problem. Great value!

The piece of steak that I did attempt was thick, juicy and cooked to perfection - sob! Whilst the food we had was very tasty (except the scones, unfortunately they were very dry), it seemed to consist of too many sweet selections and not many savoury. Will definitely go again. I thought that we were left out there just a bit too long as the ladies in particular were frozen.However once inside everyone warmed up and the atmosphere was great.The MC after a keystone cop (ish) start during the wedding became quite professional and conducted the evening without drama.
