That’s fine in theory, but it goes on for too long and becomes disjointed from the rest of the game. There’s no combat though and since this is a point ‘n’ click adventure that allows for more complex puzzles than any of its action-based equivalents. The only flaw is that the story’s inevitable conclusion becomes obvious long before it actually happens, and yet the game seems to spend an inordinate amount of time getting there. The game might be a tad bit short but I love it overall. Red Candle's Detention is a very bold interpretation story. Set in 1960’s Taiwan, the country is under martial law. This game is a true little gem from Taiwan. If you prefer your survival horror more like Silent Hill than Resident Evil then this disturbing new adventure is just for you.
