He created man by His power (Genesis 1:26). Every person in the Bible who moved in the supernatural had this one thing in common. We were born again when our spirit came alive through believing in the death and resurrection of Jesus.
God’s resurrection power accomplishes all three of these things. Supernatural Power. This is what it means to “exchange lives” with Him. 1 most overwhelming key to opening up the supernatural as a lifestyle is becoming a true worshipper, in and out of the corporate gathering. The outworking of that power—the fruit that is produced—is the hallmark of a true disciple. He lived His entire life depending upon this power. Let’s make an effort to stop that! Only if we love Him can we then love those God has put in our lives. The source of all power, therefore, is God. God’s supernatural power is a part of that Life. Yet how little of this power we avail ourselves of in our daily lives. “According as His divine Power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to glory and virtue” (2 Peter 1:3). FAITH Faith is the key to unlocking the supernatural power of God. It’s His saving power, His pardoning power (Matthew 9:6), His inï¬nite power (Matthew 28:18), His power over nature (Luke 8:24), and His life-giving power (John 17:2; John 10:10).
Romans 13:1 tells us, “For there is no power but of God.” He is the One who places rulers in positions of power, and He is the One who controls our lives and our destinies by His power. What exactly is God’s supernatural power and how does it manifest itself in our lives? Supernatural power is available to those who believe in God. What good is knowing God’s will, if we don’t have the power to perform it?
The negative supernatural is the authority and power being exercised by the devil and his demons. We found that the verb “to love” used in Matthew 22:23 is the verb agapao, which means “what we are totally given over to,” what we relinquish our lives to and what we put first in our lives. Our responsibility is simply to make the choice to let Him do so! God sustains everything in the universe by His hand of power. God’s supernatural power is a part of that Life. When we learn to love God like this, not only will God’s Love come forth from our hearts, but also His wisdom and His power will be shown in our lives. The Holy Spirit provides the power to do the impossible. I am prepared to do so. The purpose of God’s power in our lives is to come alongside us and help us learn three things: 1) how to be sanctified, 2) how to partake of Christ’s Life, and 3) how to become those overcomers (faithful ones) who bear righteous fruit.
