The first half was great and had so many opportunities for twists. In her quest Hannah discovers that Seth isn’t who he says he is and that he’s hiding secrets. The polygamist aspect was definitely interesting and I kept thinking why would someone agree to this type of lifestyle. Ironically, when facts about her husband are revealed, Grace ends up being in the same position as her patients. The ending was rushed and unrealistic.
That said, it’s been great reading along with others and I’m looking forward to February’s choices!

Her patients should have known—and so should she. That was one of my favorite shows! I read it in a day and a half because I wanted to know the climax and resolution. Such a quick read, interesting plot, completely draws the reader in. Thursday’s name was confusing for me as well given the references to the other wives. I like the polygamy angle.

Just going to cut to the chase and say that I liked the first half of the book as well.
I did enjoy the quick read of this book and I was really interested up until about a little more than halfway through. A situation of denial, manipulation, lack of self-worth (which is probably why she has a name like Thursday….she doesn’t feel she deserves a name…she’s a nobody), and destruction. I liked Thursday through most of the story but by the end she annoyed me. The book was gripping- I didn’t want to put it down.
So she quickly dispatched them.
