My experience so far at Mill Creek has been very educational. My sophomore year, I decided I wasn’t going to let anything that happened as a freshman define me. This high school is definitely not the best in Gwinnett County in terms of opportunities and sports but it was definitely a great experience and I have memorable moments that will stay in my mind forever.

My children have been challenged, encouraged, and loved by all of the faculty and staff. and First and foremost, the administrators and faculty truly love the Lord and incorporate faith into the curriculum as well as how they guide the students. For example, during lunch, the students are not allowed to stand after they sit. Providence is a Christian school that effectively teaches students about the Christian faith, shares the love of God, and has a weekly time of worship and message called AXIS. They care as much for the spiritual aspect as the academic.

. Some students expressed that they were pressured to take AP classes that they weren't ready for, and since Brookwood prides itself on excellence, I can see that happening. Small class sizes also allow students to really get to know and support each other, creating an incredible high school culture. Many clubs, sports, and other involvement opportunities are offered, so that every student can find their thing. Killian Hill, I believe, is the best place in Gwinnett for studying. The reason why I wouldn’t give it a five star rating is because on the sports side the school isn’t very fair.

I admired how there were some teachers that genuinely cared for their students and their well-being. I worked my tail off, balancing schoolwork and cheerleading, and managed to do well first semester.
