For those of you who don't.... we have you covered too! It's harder to find, and also costs more. Pressure treated lumber lasts MUCH longer than cedar under ALL circumstances. Electric fencing can be an alternative to two rail post and rail fencing, but it is not terribly reliable. BUT......Here is what our competition won't tell you about their cedar rails: As you receive your estimates, many of our competitors will tell you that the pressure treated rails we use on our Signature Series Fences are bad. Kiln dried lumber is much more stable and dependable than wet lumber. You’ll also find that this carries over to installation – because there are only two rails, installation takes less time and will generally cost a little less, as well. Attaching fence boards to the rails is the next step of the process.
